Scope: This policy applies to customers using or purchasing Karen services or products.
To facilitate your login, use of related services, and to provide you with a more personalized user experience and services, we may collect and use your relevant information when you use our services. We hope this privacy statement explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use Karen and its services (collectively referred to as "the Services"), as well as the ways we provide for you to access, update, control, and protect this information. This privacy statement is closely related to the Karen services you use, and we hope you read it carefully.
By using our services, you agree that we may collect, use, store, and disclose your relevant information in accordance with this privacy statement, as well as the control and protection measures we provide to you.
1. Scope of Application​
1.1 This privacy policy applies to all Karen services.
1.2 When third parties provide services to you through Karen, such as service providers offering services via Karen, the collection and use of your information are subject to the agreements between you and the third party regarding personal information and privacy.
1.3 The "information" referred to in this privacy statement specifically pertains to the information collected under Section 2. This privacy policy does not apply to data you store in the Karen system.
2. Scope of Information Collection​
2.1 To complete necessary activities such as Karen account registration and management, you need to submit true, lawful, and valid information, including but not limited to email address, phone number, business registration information, etc.
2.2 To provide ongoing services and ensure service quality, we will record and store information about your login and use of the Services during your usage, including but not limited to IP address, browser type, language used, access date and time, software and hardware characteristics, user identifiers, and web browsing history.
2.4 If you apply online for offline delivery or product testing, you must provide necessary information such as contact person, contact details, and address to fulfill the contract.
3. How We Collect Information​
3.1 We collect your information through your active submission and records generated during your use of our services.
3.2 We may collect and use your information through Cookies and other related technologies. The specific purposes of using Cookies include:
- 3.2.1 Remembering your identity; for example, Cookies help us recognize you as a registered user.
- 3.2.2 Analyzing your use of our services to provide you with more thoughtful, personalized services, such as dedicated customer support, recommendations, etc.

- 4.1.3 Service optimization and development; for example, we may optimize our services based on information generated when the Karen system responds to your needs.
- 4.1.4 Protecting Karen users and partners; for example, we may use your information for identity verification, security prevention, complaint handling, dispute resolution, fraud monitoring, etc.
- 4.1.5 Providing you with more relevant services, such as offering similar features or services that may interest you.
- 4.1.6 Inviting you to participate in surveys about our products and services.
- 4.1.7 Other scenarios where collected information may be needed; if the use case is not reasonably related to the initial scenario, we will seek your consent again before using the information.
5. Information Disclosure​
We will not share your information with any unrelated third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:
5.1 We may share your information with our affiliates, third-party service providers, contractors, and agents solely for the following purposes:
- 5.1.1 Necessary to provide the functions or services outlined in "Scope of Information Collection" or for purposes described in "Use of Information."
- 5.1.2 Fulfilling our obligations and exercising our rights under the Terms of Service or this statement.
5.2 As our business continues to develop, we and our affiliates may engage in mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, or similar transactions, and your information may be transferred as part of such transactions. We will comply with relevant legal requirements, notify you before the transfer, ensure the confidentiality of the information during the transfer, and continue to fulfill our responsibilities and obligations after the change.
5.3 We may also disclose your information for the following reasons: - 5.3.1 Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- 5.3.2 Compliance with court judgments, rulings, or other legal proceedings.
- 5.3.3 Compliance with requests from relevant government agencies or other authorized entities.

However, in the following cases, and only for purposes related to these cases, we may need to retain your information or parts of it for a longer period:

7. Information Security​
7.1 If you have other Karen accounts, in certain scenarios, the personal information of your Karen account may be linked to information from other accounts you hold with Karen.
7.2 We strive to ensure information security to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure:
- 7.2.1 Using server backups, password encryption, and other security measures.
- 7.2.2 Strictly limiting the scope of personnel with access to information and requiring confidentiality obligations.
- 7.2.3 Adopting industry-leading information security compliance solutions.
7.3 In the event of a personal information breach or other security incident, we will report it promptly and inform you of security recommendations in accordance with the National Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan.
7.4 Please safeguard your account and password information. Karen will only bear responsibility within the scope directly causing an information breach.
8. Access and Control​
8.1 You can access, modify, and delete your relevant information during your use of the services.
8.2 If you find that we have collected or used information in violation of regulations, you may request deletion or correction.
8.3 We may require identity verification to ensure account security.
8.4 Due to legal requirements, some information may not be accessible, modifiable, or deletable.
8.5 You may withdraw consent for non-essential information processing and cancel your Karen account through customer service.
9. Supplementary Terms​
Information Collection​
- Personal Information: Includes email address, postal address, phone number, employee name, username, service type, marketing preferences, job title, etc.
- Transaction Information: Social security number, tax identification number, credit card information (for billing purposes).
- Performance Data: Used to enhance service performance and network security.
- Passive Collection: Captures IP address, browser type, and webpage visit data via cookie technology.
Use of Information​
- Service Management: Billing, customer support, etc.
- Service Improvement: Optimizing user experience.
- Marketing and Communication: Used for marketing purposes.
- Fraud Prevention: Preventing illegal activities.
- Legal Compliance: Fulfilling legal obligations and protecting rights.
Third-Party Sharing​
Information will not be sold but may be shared with law enforcement agencies when required by law.
Data Retention​
Karen values the security of personal information. We adopt appropriate physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, we use encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality; we employ protection mechanisms to prevent malicious attacks; we deploy access control mechanisms to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal information; and we conduct security and privacy protection training to enhance employees’ awareness of the importance of protecting personal information. We will make every effort to protect your personal information, but please note that no security measures are infallible.
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Due to different scenarios and products/services, the storage period may vary. The criteria we use to determine retention periods include: the time required to retain personal information to fulfill the business purpose, including providing products and services, maintaining corresponding transaction and business records, controlling and improving product and service performance and quality, ensuring the security of systems, products, and services, addressing potential user inquiries or complaints, troubleshooting, etc.; whether you agree to a longer retention period; and whether there are special legal, contractual, or other requirements for data retention. As long as your account is necessary to provide services, we will retain your registration information. You may also choose to cancel your account, after which we will cease providing products and services based on that account and, absent special legal requirements, delete or anonymize your corresponding personal information.
Children’s Privacy​
Our products, websites, and services are primarily intended for adults. Without parental or guardian consent, children (minors under 14 years of age) may not create their own user accounts. For cases where children’s personal information is collected with parental consent, we will only use or disclose this data if permitted by law, with explicit parental or guardian consent, or as necessary to protect the child. If Karen discovers that it has collected children’s personal information without prior verifiable parental consent, it will take steps to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.
